The manager reached out to me and refunded me half of the of the original invoice amount. He apologized for what had happened. His name was Brandon. If you're going to deal with anyone at the Kal Tire location I would ask for Brandon.

Added picture of invoice they claim they can't find in the comments. Also after having my normal mechanic check the car over found they sheered off the top of one of my bolts. Of course they failed to mention this as well.
Took my car in to get a flat tire patched. That wasn't an option so they recommended 2 new tires. They told me the two used from tires would be moved from the front of the car to the back of the car, and the new ones would be put on the front. I did not notice anything was wrong when I picked my car up initially. After getting home i noticed that they had put the tires new tires on in the back instead of the front. The tires were also covered in a waxy glue like substance. Also one of my front tires was now missing a valve cover.
I phoned them up they said to bring it back and promised they would make things right. They said the substance on the wheels was supposed to be wiped off prior to returning the vehicle to me. They weren't sure why a valve cover was missing and also admitted they goofed up on installing the tires on the wrong wheels.
I drove back to the location and while they did address the issues they did nothing in the way of customer service. No discount. No coupon for a future service. Nothing. The reason I chose Kal Tire was for convenience. I could have went to other places further out of my way and got a better deal. This was anything but convenient.
Employee who “helped” me at the front desk when I went to pick my vehicle up didn’t even say hello handed me multiple papers not explaining any of the quotes I was given. The tires went back in my car with no covers all though I arrived with covers on them. Very unprofessional customer service will not ever bring going back. Not everyone has car knowledge, everything should be explained to a customer at least briefly.
Update: the manager got in contact with us and refunded us the tax. They went above and beyond to make things right. Much appreciated
We called in advanced to see if this location was on reserve and was told by an employee it was and would be tax exempt. We drove from 2 hrs for an appointment. When we got there, we were told it wasn't tax exempt and to pretty much keep the appointment or beat it. The other location didn't have the tires or appointments. We spent an extra $200 on tax that we would told wouldn't be there. Extremely disappointed! If my tires weren't in extreme need of being replaced and we didn't live out of town, we would have rescheduled, but unfortunately that wasn't realistic. The store should have owned up their mistake and discounted the tax since their employee gave false information! Extremely poor customer service
Had a really positive experience here. The staff was friendly and helpful and actually got me going the same day. The problem was a single fix and they did way more than I expected. They didn't even really charge me for every little thing they did. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get thier vehicle serviced.
Easy to get to, friendly staff, and excellent service from Eric Y. Also have coffee and free internet while you wait for your car, will come back again for sure.
Had an 11 am appointment to get 2 new front steering tires put on my big truck..i was out of the shop at 11.30..incredible service..all the employees were polite and knowledgeable..store was nice and clean..can never go wrong with Kal Tire..well done Kal Tire..
7 hours to plug in an error code reader and say they need way more time to figure out what the codes actually mean. Great way to spend a couple bills.
